You can call me Arrow or aroceu, whatever your heart desires. I write stories and code, I make graphics and designs, I talk about myself a lot, and I prefer lists in threes but break that preference quite often.

This is a bit of Pat and Pran's POV during their first meeting, as the fic is primarily in Wai's POV. But I did have this written before I wrote Wai's POV, so I knew what was happening (or at least, the beginning of) in a conversation of the non-POV character. It is not a deleted scene but rather a "missing scene."

Pat's POV

They're about to leave the coffee shop, but something catches Pat's eye. "Wait," he says, because someone at a side table looks very familiar, even though Pat can only barely see his profile. But when you've known someone most of your life, a glimpse of a profile is all you need. "I think I know that guy."

"Who?" Korn turns to look, as Pat nods his head in that direction.

It's probably Pran—especially with that amount of concentration, lost in whatever he's studying, Pat actually can't imagine it being anyone other than Pran. "Let's go over," he decides, and with Korn in tow, walks over, slides into the seat across from Pran, and takes his laptop from him.

Pran's POV

"Hey!" Pran says, and startles when he realizes he recognizes the person across from him. "Pat?"

"I thought that was you," Pat says.

He's as annoying as ever as he clicks through Pran's laptop. "Give that back," Pran says.

"Make me."

"So you do know him," says another voice, and Pran startles, realizing that Pat wasn't alone. There's a friend with him, and they're both in Engineering shirts—of course, Pran realizes, that they'd end up in feuding faculties too.

"Hi," Pat's friend says, smiling brightly. "I'm Korn."

"Pran," Pran grumbles. "What are you guys doing? I'm trying to study."

"Finding girls to hit on," Korn says. Pran raises his eyebrows at this. When Pat doesn't say anything to refute this, merely meeting Pran's eyes over his laptop, Pran realizes that he's not lying.

Pran crinkles his nose. "I'm pretty sure that constitutes as sexual harassment."

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure too," Pat says. "But Korn finds most girls attractive and he can't help himself."

"Girls are just really cute," says Korn. "What can I say? I fall in love with a new girl every day." He turns to Pran. "Have you seen any cute girls lately?" He smirks. getting closer to him, almost like he's trying to sit in his lap.

Pran shifts away a little. He could go the easy way out, but—something in him, at the sight of Pat, wants him to challenge him a little. Give Pat something unexpected, something to react to. "Can't say," Pran says as lightly as he can. "I'm gay."

Pat blinks at him, but doesn't say anything as Korn says, "Oh, well, that would make sense then." Then he actually gets even closer, despite Pran's efforts, to sitting on his lap. "So you're gay," he says. "Well, you are pretty cute for a guy. Has anyone ever told you that?"
