Desperate to save his sick daughter, working-class Ben Richards (Glen Powell) is convinced by the show’s charming but ruthless producer, Dan Killian (Josh Brolin), to enter the game as a last resort. But Ben’s defiance, instincts, and grit turn him into an unexpected fan favorite - and a threat to the entire system. Conspiracy thriller about a world-class "fixer" (Riz Ahmed) who specializes in brokering lucrative payoffs between corrupt corporations and the individuals who threaten their ruin. He keeps his identity a secret through meticulous planning and always follows an exacting set of rules. But when a message arrives one day from a potential client (Lily James) needing his protection just to stay alive, the rules quickly start to change. Sam Worthington is also part of the cast. Directed by David Mackenzie (Hell or High Water, Perfect Sense, Hallam Foe).
According to festival reviews goes a little overboard towards the end, but this looks promising.

The Crawleys must embrace change as the staff prepares for a new chapter with the next generation leading Downton Abbey into the future. Returning cast members include Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Jim Cartern Joanne Froggatt, Laura Carmichael and Dominic West. New additions are Paul Giamatti, Alessandro Nivola and Joely Richardson. Again directed by Simon Curtis (Woman in Gold, My Week with Marilyn, Goodbye Christopher Robin).

Suddenly, the two sisters must navigate their complicated relationship with their father — and deal with an American star dropped right into the middle of their complex family dynamics. Was awarded the Grand Prize this year in Cannes, where it received mostly very favourable reviews.

Documentary that investigates the increasingly powerful grip that faith leaders hold over politics in Brazil. It gained extraordinary access to the country’s top political leaders, including President Lula and former President Bolsonaro, as well as to Brazil’s most famous televangelist: a larger-than-life pastor who plays the puppet master to the far-right leader.
