Hello Yuletide author! I am excited about what you'll write for me and I hope you are too \o/
My requests for the most part are generally shippy in nature, and all of my prompts are optional! They’re mostly here to give you an idea of what I’d like out of the ship, but adherence to any of my given prompts is absolutely not necessary or expected.
I also added little “bits & pieces” lists for small things I like about the ship and things I might like to see, but are also not necessary! Feel free to mix and match any of my specific fandom prompts, bits & pieces, and general likes as you see fit :)
I’ve given up on writing real sentences for these letters now, as you can see.
Here are some things that I generally like and dislike and can likely be applied to all the fandoms here:
Like/general prompts:
- happy endings ♥
- pining but who doesn’t love pining
- getting together
- slice-of-life drug use (specifically, weed)
- canon divergence
- post-canon
- fairy tale themes
- okay I know society has progressed past the need for Hogwarts AUs, but also, Hogwarts AUs
- werewolves
- characters on social media (having twitter accounts, etc)
- other tropes that you can’t go wrong with: amnesia, didn’t know they were dating, accidental animal transformation, woke up married, kidfic
Dislike/DNW: (for this exchange)
- non-happy endings
- in general teacher/student aus, although with the context of The Good Place and Chidi canonically being a professor I wouldn’t mind any sort of modern AU with that and Jason being a grad student (somehow???) or something like that
- gay angst/sexuality crisis/coming out narratives/homophobia as a conflict or plot
- pwp
- illnesses/hospitalfic
- intense fantasy/scifi AU worldbuilding
- issuefic, Issue Angst
I don’t mind on-screen or off-screen porn/sex! My only major sex-related DNW is scat, otherwise if you want to intersperse kink, have fun :)

• Chidi learning to love Jason’s airheadedness and Jason learning to love Chidi’s uptightedness and anxiety

• Any sort of canon-related AU (workers in the Bad Place AU?? I can’t think of any more but I just love anything to do with TGP canon ‘verse even if not necessarily the timeline)

• Canon Typical Conner Friel’s Emotional and Intellectual Stupidity
• Lawrence being fond of his very stupid best friends/boyfriends
• Celebrity/the Lonely Island cameos??? (I love RPF/am very RPF friendly so go fucking wild with this if you want)
• pop culture meta; the Lonely Island meta
• canon-typical humor, either in content or format
• aiming for silly get-togethers here
Prompts
• Owen trying to get Lawrence and Conner together without realizing that they kind of already know and are waiting for Owen to confess/realize that he likes them
• Practice kissing between the three of them
• Canon div with Owen leaving instead of Lawrence? Connor leaving instead of Lawrence? Someone else being the solo popstar?
• Non-famous AU, where they’re just normal kids who are trying their hardest to get famous but mostly aspire for happiness with each other
• High school/college, not-childhood friends AU
• Docu-style storytelling, formatted like interviews (like the movie!!), of Connor/Lawrence/Owen getting together. Can be post-canon or not
• No-Style Boyz breakup fixit fic
Bits & Pieces
• PINING!!!!!!!
• really interested in genuine plot with some angst for these boys
• growing up
• stupid fights / miscommunication / boys being boys
• general antics like messing with the police ([freddy voice] ACAB)
• lots of love for their foster siblings and parents
• sibling/family attempts at matchmaking (either as main plot or somewhere on the side, doesn't matter!)
• Family of Choice elements but isn’t this canon anyway
• Other superhero cameos
• Freddy not feeling important enough and Billy feeling too self-important, but also with subversions
• Philadelphia; I was raised in the suburbs and used to live in the city; I visited a lot my entire life
• If you’re a hockey and want to throw something in about the Flyers I would find it hilarious. I’m not a hockey and am only on the fringes but in the case that my gifter or anyone browsing letters for treats wants to write something indulgently Philadelphian for me I would be super into it

• College/grad post-canon of Billy & Freddy pining for each other (and obvs eventually getting together)
• No superhero Billy-is-the-new-kid high school AU
• adult superhero!them knowing their feelings (for each other but possibly not knowing they’re requited) while teenage!them do not know and are silly
• any sort of play on their adult superhero counterparts while them being teenagers, tbh
• adopted-when-they-were-all-younger AU
• internet famous AU
• woke up married (I know I already said this in my general likes, but I think it would really work with them here)
